Our first Tshirt donation from Burger King Trondheim Norway to Uganda . Burger king Olav Trygvassons gt 13 7011 Trondheim offered its Tshirts to the community boys of mukono district in Uganda and this helped these vulnerable children to have their training outfits, giving them a chance to grow their talents in sports.
Exciting News from the Learnify Programme! Mr Mansoor Kalema, representative of our partners, Save a Child Norway, recently visited Cyprus during the third month of our project! Learnify is dedicated to empowering teenagers from diverse backgrounds, aged 15-18, by providing them with English language and computer skills classes to enhance their autonomy and promote inclusion.
During his 4-day stay, Mr Kalema observed our teenagers-focused programmes, particularly the delivery of our English and ICT classes. He provided valuable insights from his longstanding experience working with children, contributing to our efforts to enhance the quality of our teenagers-focused educational programmes!
Furthermore, together with Mr. Kalema, we met with inspiring civil society organisations working with children, like Hope For Children CRC Policy Center and Codeca - Center for Social Cohesion, Development and Care . We had the opportunity to visit their premises as well as learn about their crucial work with migrant and refugee children. We appreciate their work in this field and thank them for making the time to meet with us.
The Learnify project benefits from a grant under the Active Citizens Fund Cyprus programme, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. #Inclusion #Diversity #Equity
