Who we are

Child vulnerability is a condition where a child faces a heightened risk, compared to others in the population, of experiencing adverse outcomes, such as malnutrition, when subjected to shocks like famine. It's important to note that all children possess some level of vulnerability by default, but this vulnerability is not uniform and varies from one child to another.

Save a Child is a non-profit organization based in Norway, working in collaboration with 120 partner organizations across East Africa and other regions to provide assistance to children in need. In today's context, the increasing number of children dropping out of school is attributed to factors like the loss of parents, family neglect, insufficient financial resources to cover school fees, and lack of essential educational materials. Save A Child's mission is to support the most disadvantaged and underserved children, enabling them to access a better quality of life and helping them become responsible, contributing members of society.
